By STEVE KOBAK Hour Staff Writer Saturday, June 15, 2013 11:30 am NORWALK -- A Mr. Softee ice cream truck driver claims he was robbed in the back parking lot of Dairy King late Friday night. The driver, a Stamford resident, said he was driving down Main Street when the suspect flagged him down, police said. The suspect, described as a six-foot, one-inch tall black male weighing approximately 200 pounds and wearing an apron, told the driver that he and some of his friends wished to purchase ice cream, police said. The driver agreed to meet the suspect in the back parking lot of Dairy King, 169 Main St., according to police. When the driver arrived at the back parking lot, the suspect exchanged words with the driver and held one of his hands under his apron, police said. Believing the suspect had a gun under his apron, the driver handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.
