One lane of the northbound Merritt Parkway has reopened Tuesday afternoon in Stratford after a two-car crash closed the road just before 5 p.m., but traffic is now jammed from Norwalk and through the Bridgeport area, according to the state Department of Transportation. The accident on the northbound parkway is between Exit 52 for Route 8 and Exit 53 for Route 110 was reported at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday.
