Snow, Ice Hamper Response to House Fire

Westport firefighters tonight advance a hose line to fight a first floor fire at a home on Weathervane Hill, off Wilton Road. Hampered by snow and ice in accessing the home, Westport called on Weston, Wilton, Norwalk and Danbury units for help, said Assistant Chief Mike Kronick.
