NORWALK, Conn. A team from Norwalk-based Xtreme Cheer took second place in its first competition of the season and qualified for one of cheerleading's most prestigious events Sunday in Atlantic City, N.J. Xtreme's Flare, a Level 3 team for girls ages 10-18, dazzled the crowd at the Beast of the East competition.
