Posted: Monday, February 4, 2013 8:40 am | Updated: 9:20 am, Mon Feb 4, 2013 Hour Staff Report NORWALK - A man was killed when his BMW violently left the Merritt Parkway Monday morning in a fiery ball. The fiery crash was reported just after midnight Monday, and kept emergency crews busy until 4 a.m. The victim has not yet been identified by emergency officials. The seven series BMW had extensive damage to the car and lone male occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead on arrival by Norwalk Hospital Paramedics. The Norwalk Fire Department state police and local police, responded to a motor vehicle accident with the vehicle possible on fire at 12:15 a.m. Monday morning The accident took place on The Merritt Parkway (Rt. 15) southbound just prior to exit 40 B.
