Norwalk forecast: Saturday washout, Mom's Day nicer

On this first day of the weekend -- with an array of springtime events on the agenda -- the National Weather Service has issued a "Hazardous Weather Outlook," saying that storms this afternoon and evening could buffet southwestern Connecticut with a mix of heavy rain and winds.
