Busy Waterways

Waters off of Westport were busy with boaters of all kinds on Memorial Day. Boaters noticed a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter overhead which was participating in a search for a missing 40-year-old Norwalk man who fell into the chilly waters with three friends when their canoe overturned off of Norwalk's Calf Pasture Beach.
