Wilton will have two new cops on the beat following a ceremony Friday. The pair were sworn in by assistant town clerk Kathy Cooper and will now complete training at Connecticut Police Academy in Meriden beginning on July 7. The new officers are: Stacy Welch, age 30 and resident of Norwalk.
