In an effort to spark new membership within the American Legion, Richard Olson, commander of the Frank C. Godfrey American Legion Post 12 in Norwalk is leading a 3rd District Post Membership Revitalization Program today and Saturday, November 15th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. "Our post here in Norwalk has approximately 430 members, but it has been down over the years," said Olson. "We're one of the larger posts in the area and with troops coming home, we're hoping to reach the younger veteran and try to carry on the programs, and the community and all the great things we do."
