A voluntary recall is now underway for shellfish, including quahogs, hard clams, chowder clams, littleneck clams, mussels, oysters, and soft-shell/steamer clams caught in Westport and Norwalk Connecticut waters between July 3 and August 2, after they were found to be contaminated with V. parahaemolyticus bacteria.
