A former AT&T cable repairman from Stratford accused of stealing cash and jewelry from residents in Stamford, Norwalk and New Canaan will avoid jail if he is able to make about $4,600 in restitution. Daniel Ogrodowicz, 36, of Second Hill Lane, Stratford, pleaded guilty Thursday at state Superior Court in Stamford to a reduced charge of third-degree larceny in connection with two thefts in Norwalk, another in New Canaan and the theft of a $21,000 ring from a Stamford resident while doing cable work inside the homes.
