Former Cable Repairman Pleads Guilty in Stamford Jewelry Theft

A former cable repairman was arrested on charges he stole cash and jewelry from residents in Stamford, Norwalk and New Canaan will avoid prison if he makes about $4,600 in restitution to his victims. Daniel Ogrodowicz, 36, of Second Hill Lane, Stratford, pleaded guilty Thursday at state Superior Court in Stamford to a reduced charge of third-degree larceny in connection with the theft of a $21,000 ring from a Stamford resident, two thefts in Norwalk, and for stealing $350 cash in New Canaan while doing cable work inside the homes as an AT&T serviceman, according to CTPost.com.
