In regard to the fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on Friday night, on Woodward Avenue, the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrians, Hugo Cruz-Gregorio, 33 of Norwalk, has been arrested, police said in a release. Cruz-Gregorio has been charged with second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, evading resulting in death, evading resulting in property damage, driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, unsafe movement of a motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating without a license.
