As a commuter who is at the mercy of Metro-North to get to and from work every day, I want to personally thank Rep. Gail Lavielle for the work she did to restore thru-service on the early morning Danbury Branch train. Danbury Branch trains are diesel, and were a godsend to Norwalk residents during Metro-North's frequent winter main-line power outages.
