In what should not come as a surprise to many town residents, a new study found that the worst areas for cellphone service in New Canaan are the northwest, north, northeast and east parts of the town. The independent report, released this week, projects coverage will "significantly" improve after new cell towers are built at Silver Hill Hospital and the Norwalk Armory site.
