Dr. John breaths new life into Satchmo's classics

Dr. John, whose real name is Malcolm John aAuMacaAu RebennackMac Rebennack, will perform in Norwalk, Conn., Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, as part of a 17-city tour that will end in about a month in London. It comes on the heels of the accomplished singer and pianist's release of "Ske-Dat-De-Dat: The Spirit of Satch," which is a tribute to the late Louis Armstrong, who, like Dr. John, was born in New Orleans.
