Lillian Sommers, Of Stamford, 97

Sommers was very active with her church throughout her life, and in her younger years spent countless volunteer hours helping others in the community. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Sommers Fraioli and her husband, Richard, of Stamford, a niece, Melinda Schroeder and her husband, Dennis and a brother-in-law Kenneth Sommers of Astoria, N.Y. Her family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk.
