After a day of melting snow with sunny skies and above freezing temperatures, the National Weather Service has issued a black ice advisory for Fairfield County for Monday night. The temperatures are expected to decline rapidly during the evening hours, which will freeze the snow melt that has run onto roadways, parking lots, driveways and sidewalks.
