The battle over a plan to build a mosque on Fillow Street came to an end Tuesday night as the Norwalk City Council approved a $2 million plan to find the Al Madany Islamic Center find a new site, according to The Hour . This resolved a 2-year old lawsuit by Al Madany against the city after the city's Zoning Commission rejected plans for a 27,000-square-foot building on the 1.5-acre property at 127 Fillow St. in West Norwalk.
