Elizabeth "Betty" Shoup, of Westport, wife of the late Dr. Homer Shoup, passed away peacefully on Monday Feb. 16 with her family at her side in Norwalk Hospital. She was 96. Betty received the Westport YMCA's Volunteer of the Year Award.
