A Norwalk woman was charged with leaving her two young children in a hot car Wednesday afternoon while she shopped for glasses, according to police. Police received a report at 12:49 p.m. Wednesday that two small children had been left inside a parked car outside an eyeglass store on Connecticut Avenue.
