Three Charged After Police Pursuit, One Still at Large

A routine motor vehicle stop on Westport's Post Road West tonight led to a drug arrest of a female passenger and a police pursuit into Norwalk with two other suspects arrested, one after jumping into Norwalk Harbor, police said. According to police, the incident began when Officer Kevin Smith stopped a white Dodge Charger with a Maryland license plate on Post Road Rest at about 5:45 p.m. Assisted by a backup unit, Smith located narcotics on a female occupant outside the car, police said.
