Norwalk, Conn.-based Priceline and its properties Kayak and OpenTable were named in the suit and accused of failing to pay royalties on patents stemming from the Prodigy online service, Bloomberg reported. IBM said it informed Priceline in 2011 of its belief that the online-reservations company was infringing on patents, but hasn't negotiated a license since, the report said.
