NORWALK - Just after 4 a.m. Thursday, a single car accident claimed the life of its driver, after the car hit a tree on I-95. According to a statement, the Norwalk Fire Department received a call at 4:19 a.m. that a single car had collided with a tree on the northbound side of I-95 near Exit 13. According to fire officials, when they arrived on scene the driver was trapped in the vehicle. Emergency crews extricated the driver who was then pronounced dead at the scene.
