United Way of Coastal Fairfield County has awarded $35,000 in grants to assist Norwalk homeowners and renters with unmet Hurricane Sandy recovery needs who are served by North Walke Housing Corp. Funding for the grant comes from the generosity of those who gave through United Way of Coastal Fairfield County's Hurricane Sandy Recovery Fund .
